About the Online Competition
The Online Version of the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest (RGMC) is a virtual contest held annually where individuals or teams show off their creativity and ingenuity in the form of a Rube Goldberg Machine, submitted online! A STEAM competition for the 21st century that pits teams virtually against other teams to create a fantastical Rube Goldberg machine to solve a common, simple task, using little more than everyday objects lying about. The RGMC is truly where engineering and artistry become intertwined.
